Discover the joy of wheel-thrown pottery in our relaxed and beginner-friendly taster workshop at Wild Clay Studios. Perfect for anyone curious about ceramics, this two-hour session invites you to get hands-on with clay and have a go at making your own pieces on the pottery wheel. Guided by a friendly and experienced instructor, you’ll learn essential techniques such as centering the clay, shaping forms, and creating simple cylinders or bowls in a creative and supportive studio environment.
 
During the session, you’re welcome to throw as many pieces as you like for practice, giving you plenty of time to experiment and build confidence on the wheel. The price includes the glazing and kiln firing of one finished piece for you to keep. If you create additional pieces that you’d like to have fired, this can be arranged for £5–£10 per item depending on size. All materials, tools, and tuition are included—just come ready to get creative, try something new, and enjoy the satisfying process of transforming clay into your own handmade pottery.
 
You can then chose to have your piece/s glaze in a green, blue or transparent glaze!
